Halo’s Founder, Liya Brook wanted to create something to replace environmentally unfriendly, throw away paper eclipse glasses - glasses that wore and felt like fashionable sunglasses, but gave high level protection for eclipse viewing. For the Halo brand, we drew inspiration from space, stars and planets. We wanted to strike a balance between a deep, moody feel and the light, minimalist feel of other fashion / accessories brands like Warby Parker, so we paired deep greens, blues and blacks with light greys, whites and golds.
